1. Information We Collect

Code Space collects a minimal amount of data necessary to provide our services:

• Account Data: Your username and password when you register an account. Passwords are securely stored.
• Workspace Data: The files, folders, and code you upload or create within your personal workspace environment.
• Session Data: Temporary authentication tokens stored in your browser's local storage to maintain your login session.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used strictly for operational purposes. We use your workspace data to compile, run, and save your programming projects. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal code or account information to any third parties.

3. Data Retention and Deletion (Inactivity Purge)

To maintain server health and stability, Code Space enforces strict automated data retention policies:

• Standard Accounts: If you do not log in or save a file for 20 consecutive days, your account and all associated workspace data will be permanently and irreversibly deleted.
• Premium Accounts: Users registered with a valid Premium code are granted an extended inactivity buffer (up to 60 days) before automatic deletion occurs.

You may manually delete individual files or folders at any time from within the IDE.

4. Security and Bot Protection

We utilize Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our registration, login, and guest access points from bots, spam, and abuse. Turnstile may process hardware and software information (such as device and browser data) to verify human behavior. This is done without the use of invasive cookies.

5. Guest Mode

When operating in "Guest Mode," your code is executed temporarily in memory. Upon refreshing or leaving the page, all guest session data is instantly destroyed and is not recoverable.
